As an unusually curious child, Fernando Hettiyadura, from a young age, embarked on a journey of self-discovery and healing, driven by his personal experiences with childhood trauma. His path, marked by a commitment to reflective practices and self-exploration, led him to the powerful realm of plant-based psychedelic medicine. This pivotal encounter unveiled the transformative potential of psychedelic integration, reshaping his understanding of the healing potential and evolutionary capacity of the human mind.

Driven by deep passion, he devoted his life to sharing this journey with other seekers. He founded Evolving Temple, Ignite Global, Awaken Mind Guide, and the Global Center for Reflective Practices and Consciousness, organizations dedicated to exploring the depths of the human mind and its potential.

Fernando’s pioneering work includes the introduction of the world’s first Psychedelic Integration Professional Coaching Qualification accredited by the International Coaching Federation (ICF) for Advanced Psychedelic Practitioners. This program blends coaching science and psychology with psychedelic integration as a unique methodology.

As an ICF Master Certified Coach and an Eclectic Psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience and 4,000+ hours of documented therapeutic practice, Fernando brings a unique focus to integrating various therapeutic approaches, professional coaching, and Vipassana into his practice, blending clinical and metaphysical aspects in an intentional and mindful balance. His role as a healing practitioner further extends as an educator, mentor, and supervisor for advanced professionals in reflective practices, encompassed by his unique experiences, deep empathy, and nurturing professional insight. Fernando’s work in this field is aimed at gently yet comprehensively guiding individuals and professionals toward greater personal, professional, and spiritual evolution making positive impact at the global scale, co-creating world peace as a ripple effect.

His academic background includes an MSc in Counseling Psychology, postgraduate certification in Ayurveda Psychology, certification in Clinical Regression, and psychiatry coursework from Harvard University. He is currently pursuing a Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology, and a PhD in Psychology, researching the use of Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy in treating childhood trauma.

Outside of his professional life, Fernando enjoys the quietude of meditation and the joy of salsa dancing, activities that reflect the embodiment of balance between mind and body.

Currently, he is pursuing a postgraduate degree in Counseling Psychology, Executive Diploma in Clinical Psychology, Certificate in Ayurveda Psychology, and conducts research, focusing on “Psilocybin-Assisted Therapy Integrated Coaching in Treating Childhood Trauma”.
